Lau Guei Fang cultural souvenir shop has adopted a theme wholly based upon Taiwan’s local culture. Every element from design drawings and merchandise production are 100% Made in Taiwan (MIT). The store assistants are also recruited according to their abilities to describe the history of Dadaocheng. To uphold our green principles, all furnishings are recycled wood. We also have a collection of century-old artifacts and utensils, including printed cards for matchstick boxes made during the late Qing Dynasty and the Japanese Rule. In addition to these cultural items, we also offer a series based upon Taiwan's endemic flora and fauna such as our unique fowl and owls, using these creatures as design focus of practical everyday items.
