The Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology was the first archaeological museum in northern Taiwan. In addition to the artefact display & introduction, the Museum features the nation’s unprecedented children’s archeological experiential room as its permanent exhibition on the second floor, as well as the extremely life-like virtual-reality re-presentation of Bali’s complete natural ecology and culture & history from the prehistoric era to the contemporary period. Visitors to the Museum shall not miss out the “Marine Mystery: underwater archeology exhibition and VR simulation of underwater archeology”, featuring a 14-meter 3D submarine tunnel, underwater archeologist studio and VR simulation of underwater archeological exploration.
