In 2001, Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Tourism Bureau established the Alison National Scenic Area Management Office in response to the increasingly mature travel trends and huge demand in the domestic tourism market and in order to stimulate the tourism development and conserve resources in the great Alisan area. Its primary responsibility is to execute the tourism planning & construction, as well as its management and operation, so as to serve the tourists in the aforementioned area and hopefully to assist the local tourism to flourish by way of upgrading the leisure & recreational quality.
