Decades ago, a young man from Hualien went up north to try his luck at his startup business. With a box of handkerchiefs sitting on the rear seat of his scooter and a bag placed at the leg space,
he traveled around the night markets in Northern Taiwan, peddling his goods along the way. Although he comes from a farmer’s family and has a simple and straightforward personality in nature, he ends up selling fashionable hat products at Taipei Rear Station Shopping District. Still standing strong after 40 years of operation, the business has now passed into the hands of the second generation.
